Ali Nikpour, PMHNP-BC

Founder & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Board Certified psychiatric provider offering thoughtful medication management for adults across California.

Why I Started Clarivolve

Too much of modern psychiatric care has become transactional. Fifteen-minute appointments. Rushed medication changes without real conversation. Providers who don't return messages. Patients who feel processed rather than known.

Clarivolve exists as a direct response to that. I founded this practice to offer something that's become rare: psychiatric care that takes the time to listen, the care to explain, and the follow-through to actually be there between visits.

The name reflects the work — clarity in diagnosis and treatment, so you can evolve into feeling like yourself again.

My Approach to Care

Collaborative, Not Directive

Medication decisions affect your body, your mind, and your day-to-day experience. You deserve to be part of those decisions — not have them handed down. I explain what I'm recommending and why, discuss alternatives honestly, and treat your input as essential information, not an inconvenience.

Conservative, Thoughtful Prescribing

I start low and go slow. I'd rather adjust a well-tolerated medication upward than chase symptoms with aggressive dosing that leaves you feeling worse than when you started. When a first-line option isn't working, I'm willing to try harder — but only after we understand why.

Whole-Person, Not Just Symptoms

Medication is one tool, not the only one. Sleep, stress, movement, nutrition, relationships, and meaning all shape mental health.I'll bring these into our conversations when they matter — not to lecture you, but because ignoring them makes medication work less well.

Specialized Interest in Adult ADHD

A significant portion of my practice focuses on adults with ADHD — particularly those who were missed in childhood. Many of my patients spent years being treated for anxiety or depression before anyone considered that attention was the underlying issue. That pattern matters to me, and I bring careful attention to getting those evaluations right.
