What's Included in Your ADHD Evaluation?

At Clarivolve Mental Health, ADHD evaluations go beyond a questionnaire. We combine a comprehensive clinical assessment with QbCheck computerized testing to better understand your symptoms and guide treatment decisions.

01

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

A detailed clinical interview exploring attention concerns, medical and psychiatric history, symptoms, and how these challenges affect your daily life.

02

QbCheck Computerized Testing

Computerized testing that provides objective information about attention and activity. Results help support a broader clinical assessment.

03

Clinical Results Interpretation

Your QbCheck findings are interpreted alongside your symptoms, clinical history, and other assessment information to inform diagnostic decisions.

04

Personalized Recommendations

Receive individualized next steps based on your evaluation, including treatment options and recommendations for ongoing care when appropriate.

Standalone QbCheck Testing

$199

Computerized attention testing offered separately from the comprehensive ADHD evaluation. Does not independently establish an ADHD diagnosis.

QbCheck is an assessment aid and does not independently diagnose or rule out ADHD. Diagnostic conclusions are based on the complete clinical evaluation. Prices shown are self-pay rates.

FAQ:

Do I need a diagnosis to start medication? Yes. Medication management requires a proper clinical diagnosis, which is why this evaluation exists as a standalone service — to give you a defensible, well-documented answer before any prescribing begins.

What if the evaluation shows I don't have ADHD? That's valuable information. Many people who suspect ADHD actually have anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, or a combination — all of which are treatable. If ADHD isn't the right diagnosis, we'll talk about what is and next steps.

Can this be done entirely virtually? Yes. The QbTest works remotely on any laptop with a built-in camera, and the interview and results appointments can be telehealth.

How soon can I be seen? Most new patients are scheduled within one to two weeks of their initial consult call.

Is this the same as a neuropsychological evaluation? No. A full neuropsych evaluation typically costs $2,000-$4,000, takes 6-10 hours, and tests many cognitive domains. My ADHD evaluation is focused specifically on diagnosing ADHD and is appropriate for most adults. If you need broader neuropsych testing, I can refer you.
